The most common way to prepare our pasta is to cook it in boiling water until the pasta is at your desired firmness. You can use any other method you would try with wheat pasta. We also include standard preparation instructions on every box of pasta which are as follows:
1. Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add salt to taste.
2. Add ZENB Pasta. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally until desired firmness. (9 minutes for a more al dente pasta and 12 minutes for a softer texture.)
3. Drain well and serve, just as you would wheat pasta.

Water may foam as a natural result of the cooking process for yellow peas.
